Engine Control Module: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the ECM harness connectors (Fig 1 ).
  3. Grasp ECM and pull down firmly to release ECM from the retaining bracket tensioning springs (Fig 1 ).
