Fuel Cap Lock Cylinder: Removal

Using a flat-bladed pry tool, pry fuel cap retaining ring free from cap assembly (Fig 1).

Remove threaded portion of cap assembly (Fig 2).

Remove lock cylinder engagement collar and tether (Fig 3).

Depress the spring loaded lock cylinder retaining clip (Fig 4) and remove the lock cylinder from the cap (Fig 5).
