Front Wiper Switch: Installation

To service the front wiper/washer switch, the multi-function switch must first be removed.
- Place new wiper/washer switch next to the multi-function switch and install two screws (Figure ).
- Place the multi-function switch into place and install the two mounting screws (Figure ). Torque multi-function switch to column retaining screws to 3 N.m (27 in. lbs.).
- Connect both posi-lock harness connectors at the rear of the multi-function switch and front wiper/washer switch (Figure ).
- Install both upper and lower steering column shrouds (Refer to STEERING/COLUMN/UPPER SHROUD - INSTALLATION ).
- Connect the battery negative cable (Figure ).
- Close hood.
- Verify vehicle and system operation.
