Engine Block Heater: Installation

- Thoroughly clean core hole and heater seat.
- Insert heater assembly with element loop positioned upward ( Figure ) .
- With heater seated, tighten center screw securely to assure a positive seal.
- Connect power cord to block heater (Figure).
- Fill the cooling system (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE - FILLING COOLING SYSTEM (2.0L SOHC) ).
