STARTER SPECIFICATIONS

Application Specification
Maximum Cranking Amperage Draw (1) 500 Amps
No-Load Test At 11.5 Volts (Amperage Draw) 160 Amps
Minimum RPM (2) 5500 RPM
Solenoid Closing Maximum Voltage 7.8 Volts
(1) With engine at normal operating temperature. High viscosity oil, extreme cold temperatures, or an engine with tight piston ring-to-cylinder clearance will increase amperage draw.
(2) A cold or new engine will increase starter amperage draw. The use of heavy weight engine oil will also increase starter amperage draw.
