Mode Door Cable : Installation: Notes

The Mode Control Cable can be removed and installed without having to remove the instrument panel from the vehicle.

1. Position the mode control cable through the instrument panel heater-A/C control opening.
2. Reach through the instrument panel center air duct opening to access and reconnect the mode control cable end to the mode door lever.
3. Install and tighten the screw that secures the mode control cable housing. Tighten the screw to 2.3 N.m (20 in. lbs.).
4. Install the instrument panel center stack bezel.
5. Reinstall the battery negative cable.
