Possible Causes

  1. Battery temp voltage above 4.9 volts.
  2. (K118) Battery Temp Signal circuit shorted to battery voltage.
  3. Battery temp sensor internal failure.
  4. (K118) Battery temp signal circuit open.
  5. (K167) Sensor ground circuit open.
  6. PCM.
