Heat Shields: Installation

  1. Position heat shield to underbody (Figure) (Figure), or engine component (Figure) (Figure).
  2. Install and tighten heat shield fasteners (Figure), (Figure), (Figure), or (Figure).
  3. Inspect heat shield to exhaust system clearances and adjust as necessary. (Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM - SPECIFICATIONS )
  4. Lower the vehicle.
