Controller Antilock Brake: Installation

  1. Install CAB onto HCU.
  2. Install 4 CAB mounting bolts and tighten to 2 N.m (17 in. lbs.) torque (Figure ).
  3. Connect pump/motor connector (Figure ).
  4. Connect 25-way connector to the CAB (Figure ).
  5. Install front bumper and fascia, and hood. (Refer to FRONT FASCIA - INSTALLATION ).
  6. Reconnect battery terminal.
  7. Connect the DRBIII(R) to the data link connector to initialize the new CAB.
  8. Road test the vehicle to ensure proper operation of the ABS.
