All Windows Inoperative

  1. Test the instrument panel junction block circuit breaker No. 28 (25-amp). See CIRCUIT BREAKER  under COMPONENT TESTS. Replace circuit breaker as necessary. If circuit breaker is okay, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. Remove the Driver Door Module (DDM). See POWER WINDOW SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Check for continuity between ground and DDM C2 harness connector terminal No. 5. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair open in ground circuit between DDM and ground point G307.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and DDM C1 harness connector terminal No. 9. If battery voltage exists, test DDM. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open in Fused B+ circuit between DDM and instrument panel junction block. See POWER DISTRIBUTION in WIRING DIAGRAMS article in ELECTRICAL.
