Controller Anti-Lock Brake

The CAB is used to monitor wheel speeds and modulates (controls) hydraulic pressure in each brake channel. The modulated hydraulic brake pressure is used to prevent wheel lock up during braking. The CAB also provides a Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) signal to the PCM. CAB contains a self-diagnostic system which may be used for system diagnosis.
