DTC P0630: VIN Not Programmed In Pcm: Testing

NOTE: If the engine will not start, crank the engine for 15 seconds. Crank at least 2 times with the ignition switch returning to the OFF position each time.

Turn the ignition on, with the engine off. With the DRBIII(R), erase DTCs. Using the DRBIII(R), program VIN into the PCM. Start the engine. Allow the engine to reach normal operating temperature. With the DRBIII(R), read DTCs. Does the DTC reset? If yes, replace the PCM. If no, test is complete.
