Circuit Breaker
- Locate power window system circuit breaker No. 28 (25A) in instrument panel junction block. Pull circuit breaker out slightly, but ensure circuit breaker terminals still contact terminals in instrument panel junction block.
- Connect negative lead of a voltmeter to ground. Turn ignition on.
- Using positive lead of voltmeter, check both terminals of circuit breaker for battery voltage.
- If only one terminal has battery voltage, the circuit breaker is faulty and must be replaced. If neither terminal has battery voltage, repair the open circuit between the Power Distribution Center (PDC) and the instrument panel junction block as necessary. See POWER DISTRIBUTION in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article in ELECTRICAL. If both terminals have battery voltage, but no power windows operate, see ALL WINDOWS INOPERATIVE under SYSTEM TESTS.
