Power Mirror System
- Check Junction Block (JB) fuse No. 1 (15-amp), and Power Distribution Center (PDC) fuse No. 7 (40-amp). If fuses are okay, go to next step. If any fuse is not okay, repair the shorted circuit or component as necessary and replace the faulty fuse(s).
- Check for battery voltage at JB fuse No. 1. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, repair the open circuit(s) between JB and PDC as necessary.
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. Remove Driver Door Module (DDM). See DRIVER DOOR MODULE under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect DDM C2 harness connector. Connect the negative battery cable. Check for battery voltage at DDM C2 harness connector terminal No. 3. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, repair the open B+ circuit between the DDM and the JB.
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. Check for continuity between ground and Driver Power Mirror harness connector terminal No. 8. If continuity exists, check power mirror motor. See POWER MIRROR MOTOR under COMPONENT TESTS. If continuity does not exist, repair open in Ground circuit.
