Removal & Installation

NOTE: Before replacing the CTM, use the DRBIII(R) to retrieve the current settings for the CTM programmable features. These settings should be duplicated into the replacement CTM using the DRBIII(R), before returning vehicle to service.

Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable. Wait 2 minutes before proceeding for air bag system capacitor to discharge. Using a trim stick, remove left side kick panel. Disconnect CTM harness connectors. Remove CTM retaining screws. Remove CTM. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten CTM retaining screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Reconnect CTM connectors. Reinstall left side kick panel. Turn ignition on, then reconnect negative battery cable. Using the DRBIII(R), set CTM programmable features.
