Remove switch for testing. Connect a voltmeter positive lead to Pin 4 and negative lead to Pin 3 of switch connector in this section for pin call-outs. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Voltmeter should read battery voltage. If okay, go to Window Switch Test. If not okay, check 30-amp circuit breaker behind fuse block or for a broken wire. For wiring, specific connector type and location, refer to appropriate wiring information. The wiring information includes wiring diagrams, proper wire and connector repair procedures, further details of wire harness routing and retention, as well as pin-out and location views for various wire harness connectors, splices and grounds.
