Clutch Interlock Switch

Locate interlock switch on clutch pedal bracket. Disconnect interlock switch connector. Using DVOM, check continuity between interlock switch connector terminals (component side). Depress clutch pedal. Continuity should be indicated with clutch pedal depressed. Release clutch pedal. Continuity should not be indicated with clutch pedal released. If continuity is not as specified, adjust interlock switch and recheck continuity. See REMOVAL, OVERHAUL & INSTALLATION - CARS article. If continuity is still not as specified, replace interlock switch.
