DISTRIBUTORLESS Ignition System (2.4L): Spark

Check for spark at each spark plug wire using a high output spark tester. Check spark plug wire resistance on suspect wires. Resistance should be less than 22 k/ohms. If resistance is greater than 22 k/ohms for any spark plug wire, replace that spark plug wire. On cylinders that use coil-on-plug method, test ignition coil as necessary.
