COLUMN ECU PIN VOLTAGE CHECK

Terminal No. (1) Circuit Description Test Condition Value
1 B+ Always Battery Voltage
2 Data Request Signal Input Always 0-5 Volts (Pulse)
3 Multiplex Communication Line Always 0-12 Volts (Pulse)
4 Ground Always No Voltage
6 Wiper Switch Intermittent (2) 0-2.5 Volts
8 Wiper Switch Backup Output Wiper Switch Low Or High Speed Position (3)
9 Ignition Power Source (IGN 1) Ignition On Battery Voltage
10 Headlight Switch Backup Output Ignition & Headlight Switch On 0-1 Volt
(1) See Figure .
(2) Ignition switch in ACC and wiper intermittent switch rotated from long to short interval position.
(3) No voltage when wiper motor operates, battery voltage when wiper motor does not operate.
NOTE: Since ETACS ECU is mounted directly to junction block, measurement for junction block connector C311 terminals is impossible. Terminals No. 1-20 are listed for reference only.

12 Door Unlock Output (Passenger's Door) When Passenger's Door Lock Is Unlocking Battery Voltage
Door Unlock Output When Doors Locks Are Unlocking Battery Voltage
13 Driver's Door Switch Input Signal Driver's Door Open No Voltage
16 B+ For Power Door Locks Always Battery Voltage
17 Door Lock Output (Driver's Door) When Driver's Door Lock Is Unlocking Battery Voltage
18 B+ For Turn Signals Always Battery Voltage
19 Door Switches Signal Input Either Door open No Voltage

51 Wiper Intermittent Adjustment Signal Input (2) 0-2.5 Volts
52 Vehicle Speed Sensor Signal Input When Vehicle Is Moving 0-12 Volts (Pulse)
