Component Tests: Relays
Remove relay. Using DVOM, check continuity between relay terminals No. 1 and 3. See Fig 1 . Continuity should be indicated between relay terminals No. 1 and 3. Connect a fused jumper wire between battery voltage and relay terminal No. 1. Connect a second jumper wire between ground and relay terminal No. 3. Using DVOM, check continuity between relay terminals No. 4 and 5. Continuity should be indicated between relay terminals No. 4 and 5. If continuity is not as specified, replace relay.
