Radiator Fan Relay
- Turn ignition off. Remove radiator fan relay from Power Distribution Center (PDC). See Figure or Figure . PDC is located in engine compartment, near battery. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between radiator fan relay terminals No. 30 and 87. See Figure. If continuity exists, replace radiator fan relay. If continuity does not exist, go to next step.
- Measure resistance between radiator fan relay terminals No. 85 and 86. See Figure. If resistance is not 50-90 ohms, replace radiator fan relay. If resistance is 50-90 ohms, go to next step.
- Using jumper wires, apply positive battery voltage to radiator fan relay terminal No. 86 and ground radiator fan relay terminal No. 85. Check for continuity between relay terminals No. 30 and 87. Continuity should exist. If continuity does not exist, replace radiator fan relay.
