Output Speed Sensor

NOTE: On 4.7L models, the OSS signal is sent to the TCM, which in turn sends it to the PCM.

Models equipped with an overdrive A/T use a transmission Output Speed Sensor (OSS). OSS is located on output shaft housing of transmission. OSS delivers input signal to powertrain control module to indicate transmission output shaft speed.
