Removal & Installation

Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Using scan tool, retrieve current settings for Central Timer Module (CTM) programmable features to duplicate in replacement CTM. Disconnect negative battery cable. Wait 2 minutes before proceeding for air bag system capacitor to discharge. Using flat-bladed tool, remove left side kick panel. Set left side kick panel aside. Disconnect CTM connectors. Remove 3 CTM retaining screws. Remove CTM. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten CTM retaining screws to 20 INCH lbs. (2 N.m). Reconnect CTM connectors. Reinstall left side kick panel. Reconnect negative battery cable. Using scan tool, set CTM programmable features.
