Circuit Breaker

  1. Locate circuit breaker for power window system, in instrument panel junction block. Instrument panel junction block is located on left end of instrument panel. Pull circuit breaker out slightly, but ensure circuit breaker terminals still contact terminals in junction block.
  2. Connect negative lead of DVOM to ground. Using positive lead of DVOM, check both terminals of circuit breaker for battery voltage. If DVOM indicates battery voltage at both terminals, circuit breaker is okay.
  3. If DVOM indicates battery voltage at one terminal only, replace faulty circuit breaker. If DVOM indicates no voltage at either terminal, check for an open or short in Red/White wire between circuit breaker and Black 14-pin ignition switch connector terminal No. 10. See Figure . See POWER DISTRIBUTION article in WIRING DIAGRAMS. Repair as necessary and recheck system operation.
