Removal & Installation

Turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable. Wait 2 minutes before proceeding for air bag system capacitor to discharge. Remove instrument cluster bezel. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER BEZEL  . Remove 4 radio-to-instrument panel retaining screws. Pull radio away from instrument panel far enough to access electrical connections and antenna cable. Disconnect electrical connections and antenna cable. Remove radio. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten radio-to-instrument panel retaining screws to 20 INCH lbs. (2 N.m).
