Fuel Correction Or Adaptive Memories

In Open Loop, PCM changes pulse width without feedback from O2 Sensors. Once engine warms up to approximately 30-35°F, PCM goes into closed loop Short Term Correction  and utilizes feedback from O2 Sensors. Closed loop Long Term Adaptive Memory  is maintained above 170-190°F unless PCM senses wide open throttle. At that time PCM returns to Open Loop operation.
