Speed Control ON Indicator
- Remove speed control ON/OFF/SET switch assembly. See SPEED CONTROL SWITCHES under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect 3-pin switch connector. Connect a diode checker between ON/OFF/SET switch pins No. 2 (+) and No. 3 (-). See Fig 1 Continuity should be present.
- If diode check is unavailable, use 2 test leads. Connect one end of first test lead to battery voltage and the other end to ON/OFF/SET switch pin No. 2 (+). Connect one end of second test lead to ground and the other end to ON/OFF/SET switch pin No. 3 (-). LED should illuminate. If LED does not illuminate, replace ON/OFF/SET switch assembly. If LED is okay, check dimmer control module.
