Circuit Breaker Test

  1. Circuit breaker is located in micro relay bank. See WIRING DIAGRAM  . Pull outward slightly, ensuring circuit breaker terminals still contact terminals in fuse block.
  2. Using a voltmeter, connect ground negative lead of voltmeter to good ground. With voltmeter positive wire, check both terminals of circuit breaker for battery voltage.
  3. If only one terminal has battery voltage, check for a short to ground between circuit beaker and switch. If no short is found, circuit breaker is defective and must be replaced.
  4. If neither terminal shows battery voltage, check for an open or shorted circuit to circuit breaker.
