Test 1B - Blank DRB-II Message Screen

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For appropriate wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  1. Using external ohmmeter, check resistance between terminal No. 3 (Black/Light Green wire) at CCD bus diagnostic connector and ground. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open in wiring to terminal No. 3. Perform VERIFICATION TEST .
  2. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, test DRB-II. Refer to TEST 5A . If DRB-II is good, replace DRB-II adapter cable. Perform VERIFICATION TEST . If DRB-II is defective, replace DRB-II. Perform VERIFICATION TEST .
