Manifold Absolute Pressure (Map) Sensor

The MAP sensor is connected to the intake manifold with a vacuum hose that runs through the barometric pressure solenoid. MAP sensor is electrically connected to SMEC. The SMEC uses MAP sensor to monitor manifold pressure and other sensors to calibrate the air/fuel mixture.
