No Start Test 1 - Checking For Spark At Plug Wires

  1. Disconnect any spark plug wire and insert an insulated screwdriver into terminal. Hold screwdriver shaft about 1/4" from a good ground. Have an assistant crank the engine.
  2. There should be a good spark between screwdriver and ground. If there is spark, proceed to NO START TEST 2  . If no spark, proceed to NO START TEST 5  .
