Fuel Injector

The fuel injector is an electrically actuated solenoid that is driven or energized by SMEC. Fuel delivery is controlled by the length of time that the injector is energized. SMEC uses input signals from the various sensors to determine how long to energize the injector. Fuel is supplied to the injector at a constant pressure of 14.5 psi (1.02 kg/cm2 ).
