NS3 - Code 88
Connect diagnostic readout tool to engine harness connector. Turn ignition switch on, off, on, off, on within 5 seconds. If code 88 appears on readout tool, go to NS4 - CHECKING FOR FOULED PLUGS . If code 88 does not appear on readout tool, logic board is defective. Replace engine control module.
CAUTION:
Before replacing engine control module, ensure that diagnostic readout tool is functioning properly and no open circuits exists between engine control module and diagnostic connector.
