Tune-Up - 4-CYL: Specifications: Starter

The 2.2L engine uses a Bosch double gear reduction starter. The 2.6L engine uses a Mitsubishi double gear reduction starter.

NOTE: When performing cranking amperage draw test, ensure engine is at operating temperature. Extremely heavy oil or tight engine will increase starter amperage draw. Standard cranking amperage draw is 150-210 amps.
