Liftgate Door Lock Test

Make sure that lead wire is properly connected to solenoid. Connect a voltmeter between solenoid connector and ground. With switch depressed, at least 10 volts must be present. With solenoid removed, check plunger spring and plunger for free movement of at least 5/8".
