Clutches used in all Dodge and Plymouth models are single, dry type, of both Borg & Beck and Auburn design. Aurburn design clutches can be distinguished from Borg & Beck design by the shape of the clutch cover. Auburn clutches incorporate triangular shaped covers, while Borg & Beck clutches incorporate an almost round cover. Both hydraulic and mechanical clutch linkage is used on Dodge. Plymouth uses only mechanical linkage.
