Engine Number

Engine number pad located on engine as follows:

273", 318", 440" Engines  - On left front of block under cylinder head.

361", 383" Engines  - On right side of block below distributor.

426" Engine  - On left side on horizontal surface behind thermostat housing.

CAPACITIES

Engine Oil (1) 4 qts.
  Cooling System 273" Engine (2) 18 qts.
      318" Engine (2) 21 qts.
      361", 383", 426", 440" (2) 17 qts.
Rear Axle Dart 2 pts.
  All Others 4 pts.
3-Speed Synchro-mesh 6 pts.
4-Speed Synchro-mesh Dart 8 pts.
        All Others 9 pts.
Auto. Trans. 273" Engine 16 pts.
      All Others 18.5 pts.
Fuel Tank Dart 18 gal.
  All Others (Except Station Wagons) 25 gal.
        (Station Wagons) 22 gal.
(1) Add one quart with filter change.
(2) Add one quart with heater, add one quart with Heavy 1 Duty radiator.
