Ignition Coil Resistance Tests
- With ignition off, remove coil wire from ignition coil. Unplug ignition coil connectors. Using ohmmeter, check primary coil resistance across the positive (+) and negative () terminals of ignition coil.
- Using ohmmeter, check resistance between positive (+) terminal and the coil wire terminal of ignition coil. Replace ignition coil if resistance is not within specification. See IGNITION COIL RESISTANCE (COLD) .
