Vehicle Speed Sensor: Installation

NOTE: Lubricate NEW "O" ring with TOTAL FLUID HX or equivalent fluid.
  1. Install a NEW "O" ring into vehicle speed sensor.
  2. Install vehicle speed sensor into transaxle case, then install retaining bolt. Tighten bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Connect vehicle speed sensor electrical connector. See Figure .
  4. Connect negative battery cable.
