CROSSMEMBER Assembly: Installation

  1. Raise crossmember and align front attachment points with body posts of vehicle. Install crossmember assembly. Install crossmember-to-body front nuts and washers. Tighten crossmember-to-body front nuts to 145 N.m (107 ft. lbs).
  2. Install crossmember-to-body rear bolts. Tighten crossmember-to-body rear bolts to 145 N.m (107 ft. lbs.). Connect power steering gear. Connect control arms to steering knuckle.
  3. Connect control arms to steering knuckle. Install center member. Install exhaust pipe and main catalytic converter into vehicle. Install wheels. Lower vehicle.
