Control Arm: Installation
- Install control arm. Install control arm-to-crossmember bolt and nut. Do not tighten bolt. Install control arm rear bushing clamp and bolts. Do not tighten. Connect ball joint to steering knuckle and install ball joint pinch bolt and nut. Tighten ball joint pinch bolt nut to 90 N.m (66 ft. lbs).
- Connect stabilizer link to control arm and install stabilizer link-to-control arm nut. Lower vehicle so control arms are supported by jackstands. Tighten control arm rear bushing clamp bolts to 75 N.m (55 ft. lbs.).
- Tighten control arm front bushing nut to 140 N.m (103 ft. lbs.). Tighten stabilizer link-to-control arm nut to 45 N.m (33 ft. lbs.). Raise vehicle and install wheel. Remove jackstands and lower vehicle.
