- Remove upper and lower starter mounting bolts. See Fig 1
. Remove starter solenoid nuts to disconnect electrical cable. See Fig 2
. Remove starter assembly.
- Installation, Place starter assembly in position. Install upper and lower starter mounting bolts. Tighten starter mounting bolts to 43 N.m (32 ft. lbs.).Position starter electrical wire on solenoid terminal. Install starter solenoid nuts. Tighten starter solenoid nuts to 15 N.m (11 ft. lbs.).
