10.25 Inch Cluster

NOTE:
If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to align the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU. Follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.
REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the instrument cluster bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the fasteners (1) that secure the top of Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) (2) to the instrument panel.
- Remove the fasteners (1) that secure the bottom IPC (2) to the instrument panel.
- Roll the top of the IPC (1) to the rear of the vehicle and slide it out of the instrument panel (2).
- Disconnect the instrument panel wiring harness connector from the receptacle on the back of the IPC (1).
- Remove the IPC (1) from the instrument panel.
INSTALLATION
- Position the IPC (1) to the instrument panel (2) and connect the wire harness connector.
- Insert the bottom of IPC (1) into the instrument panel and roll the top of the IPC (1) into the instrument panel (2).
- Install the lower IPC fasteners (1) and tighten securely.
- Install the upper IPC fasteners (1) and tighten securely.
- Install the instrument cluster bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
NOTE:
If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to determine if alignment of the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU is needed. If PROXI alignment is needed, follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under the Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu. Once the PROXI Configuration has been completed, tire pressure placard values must be programmed in the RF Hub under "Update Front and Rear Axle Nominal Tire Pressure Values". If this routine is not completed, the new IPC will display "0 PSI" for tire pressure values as default.
