Backup Battery: Removal

  1. Remove the Global Telematics Box Module (TBM2) from the vehicle. Refer to MODULE, GLOBAL TELEMATICS BOX, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the TBM2 backup battery cover (3) from the TBM2 (1).

  3. Gently pull the backup battery (2) from the TBM2 (1) and disconnect the negative battery wire connector, then disconnect the positive battery wire connector.
