Backup Battery: Installation

  1. Position the backup battery to the TBM2.
  2. Connect the positive battery connector first, then connect the negative battery connector.
  3. Gently insert the backup battery into the TBM2.
  4. Install the backup battery cover.
  5. Install the TBM2 into the vehicle. Refer to MODULE, GLOBAL TELEMATICS BOX, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Start the engine and make sure the "Service Required" indicator or message on the Instrumental Panel Cluster (IPC) turns OFF.
