MOPAR Connect TELEMATIC Box - RHD: Installation

  1. Apply a strip of biadhesive Velcro (1) to the back of the T-box module.

  2. Apply the Coroplast covering tape (1) to the parts of the T-box module in contact with the vehicle to prevent vibration noise when it is mounted on the vehicle.

  3. Inspect the T-box wiring for Coroplast tape (2) covering up to the connector. Add Coroplast tape as needed.

  4. Clean the contact surface (1) with isopropyl alcohol or heptane where the module will be fitted.

  5. Using cable ties (1b), secure the T-box (1a) in position on the internal dashboard bracket with the wiring socket facing the bulkhead.

  6. Connect the T-box wiring harness connector (1) to the T-box.

  7. Install the glove compartment. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  8. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  9. On completion of installation of the T-box module, connect the diagnosis instrument to the car's OBD socket, locate the BCM module and check for errors.
