The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) module is incorporated in the amplifier, however, on vehicles without an amplifier, there is a stand-alone ANC module. Two integral connector receptacles connect the ANC module to the vehicle electrical system through dedicated take outs and connectors of the body wire harness. Different types of ANC software are used depending on vehicle audio options.

The ANC module is located on the right side of the instrument panel behind the glove box.

The ANC system also includes four microphones located in the headliner. These microphones are serviced separately from the headliner.
