Removal And Installation: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the Power Control Relay (PCR) cover.

  4. Disconnect the wire harness connector (3) from the PCR (1).
  5. Remove two nuts (4) and remove the B+ eyelet terminals (2) from the PCR.

  6. Remove the two nuts (1) securing the PCR (2) to the PCR bracket to remove it from the vehicle.
