Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.

  2. Disconnect the cooling fan wiring harness connector (1).

  3. Detach the coolant vent hose (1) from the cooling fan shroud.

  4. Remove the left upper cooling fan bolt (1).

  5. Remove the right upper cooling fan bolt (1).
  6. Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , BELLY PAN, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION , and/or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  7. Detach the wire harness retainers (1) from the lower crossmember.

  8. Remove the front crossmember to cradle bolts (1).

  9. Remove the right side crossmember bolts (1).

  10. Remove the left side crossmember bolts (1).

  11. Remove the left side lower crossmember bolt (1).

  12. Remove the right side bolt (1) and the lower crossmember.

  13. Push the radiator forward to allow clearance for the cooling fan to be removed.

  14. Lifting upwards to release from mounts and remove the cooling fan coming out the bottom.
