Cooling System: Engine: Thermostat: Installation: 5.7/6.4L

1. Position the thermostat on the front cover with the vent at the 12 o'clock position.
2. Install the thermostat housing (2) and tighten the bolts (1) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
3. Install the radiator hose on the thermostat housing.
4. Fill the cooling system. Refer to COOLANT SYSTEM AIR EVACUATION  .
5. Install the air cleaner body. Refer to INSTALLATION .
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
7. Start and warm the engine. Check for leaks. Refer to COOLING SYSTEM LEAKS  .
